Automatic charger FST ABC-1245D, 12V, 45A

The charger is designed for charging lead-acid batteries (flooded WET - maintenance and maintenance-free, AGM - maintenance-free with soaked electrolyte) for various purposes: car batteries, motorcycle batteries, traction and station (backup) batteries. It is not designed to charge batteries other than lead-acid batteries.

Protection
The device is equipped with electronic protection elements.
Against short circuit - if both terminals on the output cables are accidentally connected, the charger will automatically turn off.
Against polarity reversal - if the user connects the terminals to the battery incorrectly, i.e. reverses the polarity, the positive terminal to the negative pole and the negative to the positive, the charger will automatically turn off.
Anti-overload – if the charger is operated in demanding conditions, it may become overloaded, in which case it will automatically turn off and stop supplying electrical energy.

Description of the pulse maintenance mode function
"PULSE CHARGE" function: this is a function that, when turned on, the red diode next to the corresponding button lights up and the maintenance mode system changes, i.e. after the main charging mode is completed (when 10% of the nominal charging current is reached), it always switches to the so-called maintenance mode. Without the PULSE function turned on, the battery is constantly maintained with a low current so that there is no voltage drop, with the PULSE function turned on, the charger maintains the battery using regular and recurring pulses.

Description of the current limit function
"CURRENT LIMIT" function: this is a function that, when turned on, the red diode next to the corresponding button lights up and the charging current is reduced by about 1/4 at full power of 45A. The function is suitable for use with smaller batteries, where the reduced charging current does not cause excessive heating and wear of the batteries.
